Love everything bout Buck always have great people delicious food and nice cold drinks ! Will be missed there is no where like Bucks never has and never will !! I just wish Bucks would remain the same some remodeling yes but still have the same feel when you walk in ! So many places have changed not all for the better here in Odenton but what everyone knew from Bucks we were family even if you were a new you found out ( far from a fancy place) that there was truly friends and family there and always willing to lead a helpful hand !! I know we all will continue to be family and have the wonderful memories of Buck and and his simple but fun loving place that's what he ever wanted it to be ! If it wasn't for Sherri hard work and dedication and sweat and tears for a promise maded to Buck that it would have already been closed down !! We really appreciate everything Sherri ( her family) has done they always found away and continue to keep Bucks open !! No words to express the sadness !! Buck and Buck Murphy's Bar will live forever in our hearts !!
New to the area. Popped in for a beer and a bite to eat. Cool basement dive bar vibe. Bartender was nice, food was good, prices were cheap. 10/10 will be back.
Cool spot recently went for a Taco Tuesday on 10/21 and was slightly worried due to the packed house and lone bartender. Well fear not because the bartender they had on staff was a wizard. I honestly do not know how she managed to keep the glasses full, the plates bussed, and the food flowing out of the kitchen on her own. She was absolutely cooking! Food was delicious (I got a burger not the tacos)
I was looking for a place to get good chicken wings, since the so-called wing places I've tried in the area don't impress me. I think I found my spot for Buffalo Wing hankerings! Their buffalo sauce is just spicy enough for a little kick and has good flavor, and the chicken is nice and tender. I'll try some of their other flavors and sandwiches later, but I might be tempted with the buffalo wings each time. The service is quick and friendly, and they have several TVs to watch sports. It's easy not to notice this place, just a little local hole-in-the-wall bar and grill. The only real downsides are the small size (I'm sure it gets crowded on a popular night) and having to go down stairs if you struggle with that.
What a cool atmosphere. The bar is small and quaint. The service was fast and friendly. The drinks were perfect. This feels like a hometown bar vibe. The burger was incredible and the fries are unique (thin and crisp).
I've been in the area for many, many years, and I've driven by this place a lot of times. It never seemed impressive to me, but I eventually stopped by on a whim. It was a Saturday, pretty slow as it was a little bit late, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The decor in this place is very nice, and it seems like it's a great little hang. The bartender (Tyson) was amazingly cool and even knew some magic tricks. Decent prices on drinks, and I'm eager to come back to try the menu. I don't spend much time hanging out in bars, but for this place, every so often I'll definitely make an exception. It's a great place to come and have a beer and hang out for a very chill time. EDIT: still go here, still good food, drinks, and vibe, although Tyson no longer works there. Regardless, all of the servers are very friendly. Karaoke Saturday is gold, some fun times indeed. The owners of the Hideaway own Bucks as well, hence thd great food. Also, (little known secret) they have Taco Tuesday, it's not on the menu.
Great menu with uniques flavors, I had the spicy chicken sandwich with a side salad. Went to this establishment with locals, Josh provided great service and suggestions.
Definitely looks a lot nicer once you get into the building. I was happy they had food after eight (enough if it was just a pretzel). We went for karaoke night, with guest host John Donovan and had a great night! I also want to say that the bartenders were awesome, friendly and efficient.
This bar was recommended to me by a local. To say it didn't disappoint would be an understatement. For a small hole in wall, or in this case, basement in the wall place. It more than exceeded the expectations. The bartender Sophie was excellent in service and Lexi was super friendly. The bar was clean when I came in and the bartenders made sure to keep it that way. The food came out quick, hot, and plentiful. I came for the wings and they did not disappoint. They were meaty, flavorful, I had the Scotch Bonnet and they are some of the absolute BEST hot wings I've ever had. The pours for the drinks were very fair and pricing isn't too bad. All in all an absolutely great bar with good food, good service, and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
